Long Service Life
The silo can be used for up to 40 years. It is made of hot-dip galvanized steel with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyester topcoat. The surface is highly durable and weather-resistant. Standard coating is 275 g/m² double-layer galvanized steel sheet, and 450 g/m² or 600 g/m² coatings are available upon request.
Easy Maintenance
Both the inside and outside of the silo have inspection doors and ladders, making maintenance work very convenient. AGICO also provides pneumatic conveying systems, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators, which allow for fast and continuous loading and unloading of materials.

Loading and Unloading System
We provide many kinds of conveyors. You can choose belt conveyors, hopper conveyors, screw conveyors, or pneumatic conveying systems. They help you load and unload materials quickly and easily.
Ventilation System
The silo has a ventilation system to keep the materials dry. It stops the materials from getting damp or going bad. The system includes explosion-proof valves, pressure release devices, and material level alarms.
Monitoring System

Auxiliary Equipment

Parameters of 5,000 ton silo
Generally speaking, the height of a steel silo is less than 12 meters. The bottom of such silos needs to be made of a cement cone. When the height is greater than 12 meters, a semi-cone bottom or a flat bottom should be chosen. The following table shows the specific parameters of flat bottom silos and hopper bottom silos.
