High sealing

The AGICO fly ash silo adopts a spiral butt-welded steel plate rolled structure. The silo wall has no welds, and its air tightness is superior to that of traditional welded silos. Sealing rings and waterproof layers are installed on the top and bottom of the silo to ensure that the fly ash remains dry even in a high-humidity environment.

Fluidized discharging

The bottom cone of the AGICO steel silo is equipped with a fluidization device and an air unblocking system. Through low-pressure air, an air cushion fluidization layer is formed, preventing the powder coal ash from bridging and agglomerating, and achieving uniform and stable discharging.

The following is the entire process of AGICO’s fly ash storage and transportation system:

Raw fly ash collection

Fly ash is collected centrally through the boiler dust removal system and is conveyed by pneumatic means into the buffer silo.

Transportation

The AGICO positive-pressure dense-phase transportation system is adopted to convey the fly ash through pipelines to the target steel silo. The transportation distance can reach over 200 meters, and the system pressure is stable.

Storage and Monitoring

Inside the steel silo, there are level sensors, temperature and humidity probes, and a nitrogen protection system to prevent the powder coal ash from absorbing moisture, caking, and spontaneous combustion.

Discharge and Loading

Fly ash is discharged through a fluidized bed and transported to the loading point or bulk loading machine via a screw conveyor or air chute, achieving fully automatic metering and loading.

Dust removal and recycling

Pulse dust removal devices are installed at all dust-emitting points. The collected dust is recycled and stored in the storage bin for reuse, achieving zero emissions.
