workflow of coal storage silo
The following is the working process of the coal silo. A complete coal silo system consists of the feeding system, dust removal system, pneumatic conveying system, silo body, electrical control system, base frame, guardrail, and other components.
The powdered materials are conveyed from the feed pipe to the coal silo. Either raw coal or fly ash can be directly sent into the silo by a bulk material truck.
At the bottom cone of the silo, there is an air blowing arch-breaking device. The release of compressed air is controlled by a small electromagnetic directional valve in the pneumatic box, which helps break the coal powder arch and prevent blockages.

The top of the coal silo is equipped with a level sensor, and radio frequency capacitive level limit switches are installed at the top and bottom of the coal silo, respectively. When the switch is closed, we can sense the height of the material level inside the silo through electrical signals, thereby analyzing the inventory of coal powder or other powders.

An electric dust removal device is installed at the top of the coal silo, which can reduce the emission of coal dust into the surrounding environment. When the accumulated dust on the top of the dust collector reaches a certain level, the electrical control will activate the vibration motor to shake the dust off.
