Main Parts of Flat Bottom Silo

How Flat Bottom Silos Work
- Loading: Bulk materials are loaded onto the top of the flat bottom silo via belt conveyors or bucket elevators. They are evenly distributed through a feeding system or distributor.
- Storage: The materials are stored on a flat concrete base. The ventilation system helps maintain ideal storage conditions, preventing material deterioration.
- Discharge: Gravity helps move some materials to the central discharge pit, but mechanical cleaning spiral drills can also empty the flat silo.
