Main Parts of hopper Bottom Silo

1
Inside the roof of the hopper bottom silo
The roof is welded firmly to the hopper silo. It has several steel bars inside for reinforcement. The painted parts inside the roof prevent corrosion. They are not affected by heavy rain or snow.
2
Roof ventilation openings
When the air pressure inside increases, the exhaust valve opens. It lets the air out safely.
3
Galvanized sheet for the silo body
AGICO uses galvanized sheets with 275 g/m² of zinc. This is higher than the national standard. It gives the cone bottom silo a strong anti-corrosion ability and longer service life.
4
Steel reinforcing bars
Steel bars make the hopper silo more stable. They help the cone bottom silo stand firm in strong winds and bad weather. The bars are fixed to the steel plates with double-weld plates.
5
Rest platform
The platform is for workers checking the hopper silo. They can also rest here if tired. It gives them a safer working place.
6
Roof ladder handrails
The handrails keep workers safe when they climb. They also make their work easier.
7
Silo clamping device
This device protects the hopper silo from temperature changes. It also prevents cracks during welding.
8
Lipp Building Technology
Lipp’s double slit technology is advanced. It uses special equipment to assemble. The steel strip edges are folded twice. This makes the two plates stick closely. It gives a very good sealing effect.
9
Stair system
There are ladders outside the hopper silo. Workers can use them to inspect the hopper silo and reach the top.
10
Hopper silo door
The door has an inner and outer double structure. It seals well, is safe, and resists corrosion.
Advantages of hopper silo

Efficient discharge
Gravity helps empty materials quickly and fully. Less manual or mechanical work is needed.

Short construction time
The cone bottom silo is all metal. It can be made in the factory before delivery. This reduces onsite work.

Less residue
The cone shape reduces leftover materials. It keeps storage clean and safe.

Multifunctional
It can store grains, powders, particles, and other bulk materials.

Easy to clean
The cone design makes cleaning and maintenance simple. It avoids cross-contamination.

Support structure
The hopper silo stands on legs or frames. Vehicles and equipment can collect materials below.
