2. What is the best storage method for Blast Furnace Slag?
For mineral powder, using a sealed steel silo, automatic conveying system, and dust removal system is currently the most mature storage solution in the industry.
3. Will Blast Furnace Slag absorb moisture during storage?
GGBFS belongs to fine powder materials. Although it won't hydrate as quickly as cement. However, long-term exposure to humid air can easily absorb moisture from the air. Resulting in clumping, decreased activity, difficulty in transportation, and affects the quality of the final product.
4. How long can GGBFS be stored?
Short-term inventory, 1-3 months. Long-term inventory, about 6 months. If a sealed steel plate warehouse is used and moisture-proof management is done well, the storage time can be extended.
